The source added that the clashes have resulted in the injury and arrest of several smugglers, along with the prevention of the smuggling of significant quantities of drugs and weapons. Furthermore, the source affirmed that the armed groups are currently being expelled from Syria, the Jordan News Agency, Petra reported.

Over the past few days, there has been a surge in the number of these operations, transitioning from infiltration and smuggling attempts to armed clashes. These clashes are aimed at forcefully crossing the Kingdom's border by targeting border guards, the source pointed out.

The source emphasized that these clashes are ongoing, and JAF is actively monitoring the movements of these groups, along with its attempts to destabilize national security.
