Inspection campaign checks commitment to paying minimum wages

AMMAN — The Ministry of Labor said that it has launched a wide-range inspection campaign since the beginning of March to ensure the private sector’s commitment to paying the minimum wage to their employees, according to Jo24. اضافة اعلان

The campaign targeted all sectors and economic activities across the Kingdom and is going to last until the end of March.

The ministry stressed that it will issue fines for employers of all establishments that does not pay their employees the minimum wage.

It also pointed out that the ministry inspection teams are carrying out a similar campaign to ensure the private sector’s commitment to the provisions of the Labor Law.
