The prices are now JD.945 for a liter of octane 90, JD and JD1.185 for a liter of octane 95.

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources' fuel pricing committee also announced that it will also maintain the prices of kerosene, at 620 fils per liter,  and diesel at 820 fils per liter.

The committee’s decision came during its monthly meeting held on Tuesday, to set prices for the sale of domestic oil derivatives for the month of February. World prices for crude oil and petroleum derivatives were reviewed in January and compared to December.

The committee's decisions found that the rate of oil derivatives prices rose globally during January and therefore approved prices for the month of February.
