In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful,
Prayers and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad,
The faithful Arab Hashemite Prophet,
Your Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani,
Your Majesties, Excellencies, and Highnesses,
Peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you,
I extend my deepest condolences to Your Highness, my brother Sheikh Tamim, and to the dear people of Qatar, for the victims of the brutal Israeli aggression against your brotherly country.
We condemn this aggression as a blatant violation of international law and a dangerous escalation that drives the region toward further conflict.
We stand with you with all our capabilities, and support any step to confront this aggression, to safeguard your security, stability, and the safety of your people. For Qatar’s security is our security, its stability is our stability, and our support for you is absolute.
Brothers, esteemed leaders,
Israel’s assault on Doha comes nearly two years after it launched its brutal war on Gaza—two years of killing, destruction, and starving innocent civilians. Throughout this period, Israel has repeatedly violated international law and all human values.
Israel has escalated in the West Bank with unlawful measures that obstruct the two-state solution and destroy any prospects for a just peace. It continues to threaten the security and stability of Lebanon and Syria.
And now it assaults the sovereignty and security of Qatar.
The Israeli government has grown emboldened in its domination because the international community has allowed it to remain above the law.
We, in the Arab and Islamic worlds, must review all our tools of joint action to confront the danger posed by this extremist Israeli government.
Our summit today must produce practical decisions to confront this danger, to stop the war on Gaza, to prevent the displacement of the Palestinian people, to protect Jerusalem and its holy sites, and to safeguard our shared security, interests, and future.
The aggression against Qatar is proof that the Israeli threat knows no borders. Our response must be clear, decisive, and deterrent.
Peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.
The Jordanian delegation to the summit included Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi, Director of His Majesty’s Office Eng. Alaa Batayneh, Jordan’s Permanent Representative to the Arab League Ambassador Amjad Adaileh, and Jordan’s Ambassador to Qatar Zaid Louzi.
