AMMAN — Lower House Speaker Abdul-Munem Al-Oudat
decided on Wednesday to convene the house for a meeting with Prime Minster
Bisher Khasawneh on Monday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra reported.
The meeting, according to a parliamentary source, is meant
to brief deputies on the recent developments of the events witnessed by the
Kingdom in the last week, Petra reported.
The recent developments referred to by the parliamentary
source involve matters surrounding HRH Prince Hamzah, which led to the arrest
of Sharif Hassan bin Zaid, former minister Bassem Awadallah and others
implicated in targeting the security and stability of Jordan.
