The seized items included 150,000 sexual enhancement pills, 918 fireworks units, 70 detonators of various types, empty medical capsules, expired medicines, and a variety of prohibited goods.

Jordan Customs emphasized that these efforts aim to protect the national economy and safeguard public health, combat commercial fraud, and prevent the circulation of smuggled items that violate public safety regulations. The department added that such measures also help maintain fairness in the market and raise awareness of the dangers of smuggling and its negative effects on society and the economy.

The department stated that the success of these operations is attributed to close cooperation between Customs and security services, in addition to the genuine partnership with citizens, who represent a key pillar in combating smuggling by providing information that protects public safety and supports compliant traders.

Jordan Customs reaffirmed its commitment to continued market monitoring and cutting off smuggling sources that directly harm local industries and the national economy. The department also urged citizens to cooperate and immediately report any activities or violations that could harm the economy or public health through the toll-free number (105) – Anti-Smuggling Operations Center.
