Cold weather conditions forecast for weekend

AMMAN — Relatively cold and cloudy weather conditions are forecast, on Friday, with a chance of light showers in northern and central regions, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

Winds will be westerly moderate, picking up at times.

The JMD warned of slippery roads and low-visibility due to fog formation in mountainous areas.

Temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 12 degrees Celsius and a low of 5 degrees at night.

Highs in the port city of Aqaba will hike up to 22 degrees, sliding to 11 at night.

The minimum and maximum temperatures in Amman range between 5-12 degrees Celsius, in the Dead Sea 10-20 degrees Celsius, and in the Gulf of Aqaba 11-22 degrees Celsius, according to the (JMD) report.
