'Caution needed despite drop in COVID-19 cases'

AMMAN — Assistant Secretary General for Primary Health Care Ghazi Sharkas on Saturday urged for caution despite the decline in COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom, and asked those who come in direct contact with confirmed cases or those with symptoms to take a PRC test. He told the Jordan News Agency, Petra, in an interview that tests are available through epidemiological investigation teams, health centers, hospitals, and laboratories.اضافة اعلان

He called on those who take the swab test to quarantine before they receive their results to avoid infecting others.

Sharkas also stressed the need to follow preventative measures, register for vaccination and not miss their vaccination date, adding that adherence to these measures will help to further stabilize the epidemiological situation.
