AMMAN —
Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh inaugurated Aqaba's "Fountain
Mall," and heralded the city’s importance as an
economic, tourist, and investment destination. The mall which is located in the
heart of Aqaba is adjacent to Saraya, Ayla, and a group of luxury beachfront
hotels and five-star resorts. With an
area of 21,500 square meters, the mall includes 260 indoor and outdoor car
parking spaces, with fast-charging stations for electric cars. It features
energy-efficient technologies and green building specifications, Al Mamlaka TV
reported.

The mall houses famous
fashion exhibitions, duty-free markets, banks, car rentals, and more. Plans for
a second phase, the "Fountain Village," on 8,000 square meters, aim
to further elevate Aqaba's status as a prominent tourist and shopping
destination. During Khasawneh’s speech, he stressed the importance of Aqaba as
an economic, tourist, and investment destination, with an endeavor to be among
the 100 best and most important cities in the world, with a goal of economic
modernization.
