3,000 PSD employees to receive COVID-19 vaccine today

AMMAN — The Public Security Department (PSD) on Monday started the primary stage of its drive to vaccinate the department’s employees against COVID-19, which will see 3,000 vaccinated today.اضافة اعلان

According to deputy PSD manager for administration and logistical support, Brig. Gen. Mutasem Abu Shtal, over the course of two previous stages, the PSD vaccinated its paramedics and some emergency and rescue staff who deal with citizens directly.

“The (vaccination) campaign will resume until every last officer in the PSD has been vaccinated…” Abu Shtal said.

The PSD official noted that the campaign will begin by immunizing those who are 30 years old and over.
