1st lieutenant dies in parachute fall while training

AMMAN — An official source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces - Arab Army said a first lieutenant died after falling from parachute while training, Al-Mamlaka TV reported. First Lieutenant Huthaifa Walid Jamil Al-Khattab, of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Rapid Intervention/ High Readiness Brigade died at 8am on Sunday. He was participating in a course at the Prince Hashem bin Al Hussein School for Special Operations. The General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces mourned the martyr, and expressed its condolences to his family, friends, and companions.
