AMMAN — The Jordanian field hospital in Khan Yunis, which entered the besieged Gaza Strip on Monday, includes 14 women among the Jordanian medical staff working at the military hospital. اضافة اعلان

According to Al-Mamlaka TV,, the 14 women are working in the hospital, which is the first to enter the strip since October 7. The hospital consists of emergency, general internal medicine, intensive care unit (ICU), men's section, women's section, a nursery with a capacity of 41 incubators, obstetrics and gynecology, in addition to a laboratory, pharmacy, radiology room, and two operating rooms for urgent surgeries.

The hospital in Khan Yunis, in the southern sector, is the second Jordanian medical facility in the sector after the Jordanian Military Field Hospital, which operates in the northern part of the besieged strip. The hospital's staff, consisting of 145 members of the medical and nursing teams in the Royal Medical Services, in addition to administrative staff, specializes in general surgery, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, chest surgery, urology, cosmetic surgery, orthopedics, pediatrics, and maxillofacial surgery.

Earlier, 40 trucks arrived at the Rafah crossing carrying medical equipment and supplies to prepare the hospital.
