Ingredients for Chicken Toast Casserole
White toast bread: 10 slices
Chicken breast: 250 grams (boneless and skinless)
Onion: 1 piece (chopped)

Garlic: 2 cloves (minced)
Butter: 50 grams
Olive oil: 2 tablespoons
Cooking cream: ½ cup
Béchamel sauce: 1 cup (ready-made)
Bell peppers: 2 pieces (cut into small cubes)
Olives: ½ cup (pitted)
Salt: 1 teaspoon
Black pepper: 1 teaspoon
Mozzarella cheese: 1 cup (shredded)
Preparation Method
In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter with the olive oil. Add the thinly sliced chicken breasts and stir until they change color.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until soft.
Add the diced bell peppers and sliced mushrooms, and continue stirring.
Season the mixture with salt and black pepper, mix in the pitted olives, and turn off the heat.
In a baking dish greased with a little butter, arrange five slices of toast. Spread the chicken filling evenly over them, then place the remaining five slices of toast on top of the filling.
Mix the cooking cream thoroughly with the béchamel sauce and pour the mixture evenly over the top layer of toast.
Place the baking dish in a preheated oven at 200°C for 20 minutes.
Remove the dish from the oven, sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top, and return it to the oven for another 5 minutes until the cheese melts and turns golden brown.
Serve the chicken and cream toast casserole hot.
