Minister of Youth Raed Sami Al-Adwan received the head of the organizing committee for the 24th Asian Karate Championship for Youth and Juniors Under-21, President of the World Karate Federation Antonio Espinós, along with his deputy, Major General Nasser Al-Razooqi; the President of the Asian Federation, and President of both the Arab and West Asian Federations, Ibrahim Al-Qannas; and Vice President of the Asian Karate Federation Rashed Al-Ali, in the presence of Jordan Karate Federation President Hassan Masoud, on the sidelines of final preparations for the launch of the championship, which the Kingdom is hosting with the participation of elite Asian players and teams.

The meeting, held Sunday at the Ministry of Youth, addressed the organizational and technical preparations for the championship, and the efforts underway to complete the various arrangements related to hosting delegations, players, and participating committees, ensuring the championship's success and that it reflects an image befitting Jordan's standing and its ability to host continental and international sporting championships.
Al-Adwan noted that hosting the Asian Championship under the patronage of His Highness Prince Faisal bin Al-Hussein, President of the Jordan Olympic Committee, reflects the Asian Federation's confidence in Jordan's organizational capabilities, affirms the standing Jordan has come to hold on the map of hosting major continental and international sporting championships, and strengthens Jordan's image as a safe destination capable of hosting major events with high efficiency.
For his part, Espinós and the accompanying delegation praised the attention and advanced level of preparations underway for the championship and its events, affirming the importance of the championship in the opportunity it provides for exchanging expertise between countries and strengthening karate's international presence.
