Amman: The Jordan Football Association, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Ali bin Al Hussein, held the third extraordinary General Assembly meeting of 2026 yesterday via video conference.

Prince Ali bin Al Hussein, the association's president, extended the condolences of the Jordanian football family to the families of the martyrs of the terrorist attack that targeted a church in the village of Hamoud in Karak Governorate, expressing his sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the martyrs' families.
He also expressed his wishes for success to the football family in holding the election of the new board of directors, to help strengthen the association's progress, fulfill the aspirations of the football system, and continue working toward further development and achievements at all levels.
The meeting approved amendments to the association's bylaws, including an amendment to Article 21(1) to update the total number of General Assembly members so that it matches the actual number of its members. The meeting also reviewed the composition of the association's General Assembly and of its election and appeals committees.
The meeting also notified the General Assembly of the date of its ordinary meeting, which will be held on Saturday, December 5, and will include the election of the new board of directors.
