AMMAN — Jordan’s
Al-Wehdat SC revived their hopes at the AFC Champions League after defeating
the Qatari Al-Sadd 3–1, in a match that brought them together at Prince
Muhammad Bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam.
The match was part of
the fourth round of the fifth group in the championship.
Al-Wehdat’s Muhammad
Al-Damiri scored in the minute 47, Khaled Essam at minute 59, and Ahmed Samir
at minute 74, while Bruno Tabata scored the goal of Al-Sadd at minute 53.
Currently, Saudi’s
Al-Faisaly leads the scoreboard with eight points followed by Uzbekistan’s
Nasaf with five points, and Al-Wehdat and Al-Sadd both come in with four
points.
