Nabil Al-Khatib, head of the association, told Petra that maritime activity at Aqaba Container Terminal continues an upward trajectory for both incoming and outgoing containers compared to last year, despite the decline in outgoing containers during August.

The Jordan Logistics Association, established in 2007, represents workers in the shipping industry in Jordan, promotes a competitive environment, protects freight forwarding professionals, and develops operational systems for freight brokers and logistics service providers. It holds membership in the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA), founded in 1926 in Vienna as a non-governmental organization.
