Guterres Condemns “Bloody” Attack on Jewish Community in Sydney During Hanukkah

UN Secretary-General António Guterres expressed horror and strong condemnation of the bloody attack on Sunday targeting Jewish families gathered in Sydney to celebrate Hanukkah.اضافة اعلان

Guterres said: “My heart is with the Jewish community worldwide on this first day of Hanukkah, a holiday that celebrates the miracle of peace and the triumph of light over darkness.”

He added that the United Nations condemns this violence and calls for the protection of civilians and respect for the sanctity of religious and communal holidays.
