Richard Peppercorn, the organization's representative in the Palestinian territories, stated, "We are deeply concerned about the spread of diseases as the winter season approaches." He noted that over 70,000 cases of acute respiratory infections and more than 44,000 cases of severe diarrhea have been identified in the densely populated area, emphasizing that the actual numbers far exceed expectations, Hala News reported.
