AMMAN — Muhammad Haitham al-Tamimi, a three-year-old Palestinian boy has died in the hospital, four days after he was shot in the head by Israeli soldiers last Thursday while in the car with his father in the West Bank. Mohammad was laid to rest today following a funeral procession from Ramallah to his home village of Nabi Saleh. His father, Haitham al-Tamimi suffered injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening, while his son remained in critical condition for four days until he was announced dead on Monday.


In a statement, the Tamimi family said that Mohammad died as a result of the crimes of the occupation, Haaretz reported.

Mohammad was laid to rest today following a funeral procession from Ramallah to his home village of Nabi Saleh.
