Medical sources announced today, Tuesday, that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 62,819, the majority of them children and women, since the start of the Israeli occupation’s aggression on October 7, 2023.

The sources added that the number of injuries has risen to 158,629 since the beginning of the assault, while many victims remain under the rubble, unreachable by ambulance and civil defense teams.
They pointed out that 75 martyrs and 370 wounded arrived at Gaza hospitals in the past 24 hours. Since March 18, following the occupation’s breach of the ceasefire agreement, the toll has reached 10,975 martyrs and 46,588 wounded.
They also explained that in the past 24 hours, 17 martyrs and 122 wounded from aid-related incidents arrived at hospitals, bringing the total number of martyrs killed while seeking sustenance to 2,140, with 15,737 wounded.
Hospitals in Gaza recorded 3 new deaths in the past 24 hours due to famine and malnutrition, raising the total number to 303 deaths, including 117 children.
