Israeli ground forces claim ‘relatively large’ Gaza incursion

GAZA — According to Israel’s Army Radio, Israeli ground forces carried out a relatively large incursion into the Gaza Strip overnight to attack Hamas positions. اضافة اعلان

The Israeli army said tanks and infantry entered northern Gaza overnight, killing “many” fighters, and destroying military infrastructure and anti-tank positions.

The operation, as reported by Al Jazeera, took place under the control of the Givati Brigade, one of the army’s five infantry units, and is preparing for its next stages of combat, adding that it exited Gaza at the end of the raid.
