GAZA — According to a report by the American newspaper the
Wall Street Journal, the war on the Gaza Strip has resulted in destruction
comparable to some of the most devastating campaigns in modern history,
affirming that Israel dropped 29,000 bombs, destroying approximately 70 percent
of the homes in the sector, Al-Ghad reported.

The newspaper stated that Israeli airstrikes completely
destroyed or damaged half of the buildings in the Gaza Strip. Additionally,
historic Byzantine churches, mosques, factories, shopping centers, luxury
hotels, theaters, and schools were targeted.

Furthermore, the bombing, which targeted water, electricity,
communications infrastructure, and healthcare facilities, rendered them all
irreparable, the newspaper emphasized. The report also mentioned that the
occupation destroyed olive orchards, citrus trees, and agricultural greenhouses.
