The death toll from the Israeli occupation’s assault on the Gaza Strip has risen to 59,029 martyrs and 142,135 wounded since October 7, 2023.
According to medical sources cited by the Palestinian news agency WAFA on Monday, 8,196 people have been killed and 30,094 injured since March 18, 2025, when Israel resumed its aggression following a ceasefire agreement.

The sources also reported that 99 martyrs and 650 injuries were recorded in the past 24 hours alone. This brings the total number of "breadwinner martyrs" who arrived at hospitals to 1,021, with over 6,511 injured in this category.
It was further noted that many victims remain trapped under rubble or in the streets, where emergency and rescue teams are unable to reach them due to ongoing hostilities and access restrictions.
