Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Khatibzadeh stated on Wednesday: “Iran has made it clear in exchanged messages that it cannot engage in negotiations with the United States until these attacks cease and the aggressor takes responsibility.”
He added, “Washington must pay compensation for the damages caused to Iranian facilities, and Tehran will submit a complaint to the United Nations in this regard.”
Khatibzadeh further clarified, “We had no written agreement with the Zionist entity that included any clauses. What occurred was merely a cessation of aggression by the Zionists, and in return, Iran, while fully prepared, will not carry out any attacks.”
