A reported Iranian missile strike on Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva left at least 50 people injured on Thursday, according to medical sources.
A spokesperson for Magen David Adom stated that emergency teams "are providing medical treatment and have evacuated two individuals in critical condition to the hospital, in addition to 30 others with minor injuries." He added that additional emergency crews are attending to several other casualties at different locations.

An Israeli military source reported that "dozens of ballistic missiles" were launched during the Iranian attack.
Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed on Thursday that a hospital in the south of the country had been directly hit by a new wave of missile fire from Iran. The ministry posted on X:
“Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva in southern Israel was directly hit. Further details to follow.”
A hospital spokesperson confirmed that the building sustained extensive damage in several areas. “We are currently assessing the damage, including injuries. We urge citizens not to come to the hospital at this time,” he said.
Iran launched the barrage of rockets on Thursday morning, marking the seventh day of escalating military conflict between the two sides.
Israeli media reported that at least four missiles landed inside Israel following the Iranian strike. Soroka Hospital officials also suspect a hazardous material leak on one of the floors, prompting evacuation of the area.
Separately, Tel Aviv police reported that a missile hit a tower, causing damage to nearby buildings in central Tel Aviv. Media outlets said rockets struck four locations: three in the Gush Dan area and one in the south. Reports also indicated a full building collapse at Soroka Hospital and another in Be’er Sheva.
According to Israel’s Channel 12, one missile struck a building in central Tel Aviv, causing widespread destruction.
Yedioth Ahronoth confirmed that the attack on Israel was a dual assault using both missiles and drones.
The ongoing exchange of missile fire and threats between Israel and Iran has raised fears of further military escalation.
In response, Israel launched a wide-scale attack on Iran early Friday, targeting military and nuclear sites. The Israeli assault reportedly killed senior military leaders and nuclear scientists, claiming it was based on intelligence that Iran’s nuclear program was approaching a “point of no return.”
Iran, which denies seeking to develop nuclear weapons, responded with dozens of missiles targeting military facilities inside Israel.
