Jordan will be gradually affected on Sunday by a Khamsin low-pressure system, bringing active southwesterly winds with strong gusts that may exceed 60 km/h. These winds are expected to stir up dust in many areas, leading to reduced horizontal visibility, according to the Meteorological Department.
Weather conditions will be unstable, with clouds appearing at various altitudes and a chance of light, scattered rain showers across different parts of the Kingdom.
On Monday, temperatures will drop noticeably, making the weather relatively cold in the highlands and plains, and mild in other regions. Low-altitude clouds will appear, with expected light rain showers in parts of northern and central areas. Winds will shift to active westerlies, accompanied by strong gusts at times, especially in desert regions.
On Tuesday, conditions will remain relatively cool in the highlands and plains, and mild elsewhere. Low clouds will persist over northern and central Jordan, with a chance of light rain showers in the morning hours, particularly in the northern regions.
