Al-Masatfa wins first bronze in Jordan's Olympic history

AMMAN — Abdulrahman Al-Masatfa has won the Kingdom's first bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics 2020 for the men’s under-67kg competitions. He has become the first Arab player to score a medal in karate in the Olympic Games.اضافة اعلان

The Jordanian team has also concluded its historic participation in the Tokyo Olympics 2020, after having won two medals in the same year for the first time in history. 

After topping his pool in the elimination round with four outstanding performances, Masatfa reached the semifinal and faced off against his Turkish counterpart, Eray Samdan. The Jordanian displayed an outstanding spirit, leaving it all on the court.
