300 players set to participate in Jordanian Wrestling League

AMMAN — The Wrestling Federation closed the registration for the Jordanian Wrestling League on Monday. Some 300 wrestlers, 35 of whom are women, registered. اضافة اعلان

The league stipulates that wrestlers compete against each other in accordance to their category of wrestling, as well as their weight class. The wrestlers are all representing 13 different clubs and centers across Jordan.

After the tournament is concluded, points will be tallied across weight classes and categories. The first place wrestler will be rewarded JD1,000, second place JD750, and then third JD500.

The league scheduled to take place on July 29 and 30 at the Sports Palace Hall in Al-Hussein Youth City.
