For the first time in his career, Egyptian singer Amr Diab has decided not to film any additional songs from his new album “Habaitak”, choosing instead to rely on the major success of the music video for “Lola El Banat.” The video has topped music platforms and YouTube since its release.

This marks the first time Diab, widely known as “El Hadaba,” has chosen to produce a music video for only one song from an album.
Music producer and arranger Ahmed Ibrahim explained why no additional songs from “Habaitak” are being turned into music videos, saying the decision reflects Diab’s approach to songs that achieve major success and his desire to give them more time to connect with audiences.
In press statements, Ibrahim said: “We were supposed to film more than one song from Amr Diab’s album, but ‘El Hadaba’ keeps changing his mind. He believes that if ‘Lola El Banat’ has achieved such huge success, there is no need to interrupt its momentum with something else.”
“Habaitak” Achieves Major Success
Amr Diab’s “Habaitak” album has achieved significant success since its songs were released. The album features a collection of tracks created in collaboration with some of the leading lyricists, composers and music arrangers, including Ahmed Ibrahim, who contributed to several of the album’s songs.

Amr Diab recently performed at a major private concert at the foot of the Pyramids, which drew a large audience. Fans gathered to enjoy a selection of his classic and recent songs.
Diab took the stage to a warm reception and loud applause, opening the concert with “Ya Ana Ya La” before performing several of his latest songs, including “Khatfouni” and “Enta El Haz.”
He then moved on to a selection of songs that have remained popular with audiences across generations, including “Amarain,” “Nour El Ain,” “Leily Nahary” and “W Ghلاوتك,” prompting the crowd to sing along and applaud.
He also performed several of his newer songs, including “El Alwan” and “Rage3,” as well as “Lola El Banat,” whose music video featured Lojain Khalifa. He later concluded a section of the concert with “Shayef Amar” and “Habaitak.”
During the concert, Diab had a lighthearted exchange with young actress Lojain Khalifa, who starred in the “Lola El Banat” music video. He initially invited her onto the stage to greet the audience before joking about her previous appearance with him.
“Your dancing last time caused you some trouble, so you’re not going to dance this time,” Diab told her, before asking her to leave the stage as the audience reacted.
The exchange came amid Khalifa’s association with “Lola El Banat,” in whose music video she appeared alongside Diab.
Her appearance on stage became a notable moment during the concert, particularly as Diab humorously recalled her previous appearance with him, when she performed the dance featured in the music video. Her dancing had drawn criticism from some social media users, while others linked her appearance with Diab to speculation about a relationship between them. Diab subsequently asked her to leave the stage, prompting a strong reaction from the audience.
