Lebanese actress Nour has returned to social media after a long absence from her fans, marking her first public appearance since the death of her husband, Syrian businessman Youssef Antaki, last March following a battle with illness. Nour shared a new set of photos on her personal Instagram account.

Nour appeared in an elegant new look, sporting short hair with a noticeable change in its color, giving her a different appearance from her previous looks. Her return drew significant attention from fans, who reacted warmly to her first appearance after the long absence, particularly to the changes in her appearance. Many expressed their happiness at seeing her back and said they had missed her during her time away from the spotlight.
Nour had stepped away from social media and refrained from taking part in new artistic projects for more than a year and a half due to her late husband’s health condition. She chose to devote her time to staying by his side, caring for him throughout his illness and supporting him during his final days in hospital before his condition deteriorated and he passed away.
Syrian businessman Youssef Antaki, Nour’s husband, died last March after a battle with illness, leaving the actress grieving after many years together. The couple married in 2008 and had two children, Leonardo and Lia. Throughout their marriage, they kept their children away from the media and maintained the privacy of their family life.
A few days after her husband’s death, Nour marked his first birthday following his passing with an emotional Instagram post. She wrote: “A message to heaven, to my angel and the love of my life, to the kindest and purest of men. On this day, you were born. Today is your birthday. We were accustomed to celebrating it together, but this year fate did not will you to be with us.”
She added: “You were and still are, Joe, a gift from the Almighty and a blessing from God. You were, still are, and will always be my beloved, my husband, my teacher, my friend, my partner, my soul and the father of my children. I never imagined that I would continue life without you. I will allow myself to share a previous message from you to heaven, one of the prayers closest to your heart. Happy birthday, beautiful one. Happy birthday, my love. Happy years, Joe, in heaven, where there is no pain or sorrow, until we meet again.”
Nour’s most recent work was the series “Jowder 2,” which aired during the 2025 Ramadan drama season. She starred alongside Yasser Galal, Yasmine Rais, Tara Emad, Wafaa Amer, Jihan El Shamashergy, Abdel Aziz Makhyoun, Ahmed Bedir, Walid Fawaz, Aiten Amer, Hanady Mehanna, Mahmoud El Bezawy, Mohamed El-Tayegi, Sami Maghawry, Aida Riyad, Ahmed Fathy, Magdy Badr, Mohamed Ali Rizk, Ahmed Kashk and Ahmed Magdy. The series was written by Anwar Abdel Moghith and directed by Islam Khairy.
