AMMAN — Two sector representatives in Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC) said that purchasing power in the markets had improved ahead of Eid Al-Fitr, compared to the past two years, after easing restrictions that were imposed to limit the spread of the Coronavirus, according to Al-Mamlaka TV.
The representative of the foodstuff sector, Raed Hamadeh, and the representative of the clothing, shoes, fabrics, and jewelry sector, Asaad Al-Qawasmi, explained that the market movement was good during Ramadan, due to recent salary payment and delaying bank installments in April, which contributed to improve the movement of the markets.
