No early retirement for new SSC subscribers after 2023

AMMAN — Social Security Corporation speaker Shaman Al-Majali said on Sunday that early retirement will be canceled for those who register with the corporation after 2023, and the 5 percent deduction for health insurance covers the husband, wife (if the wife has no other insurance), and the children, Ad-Dustour daily reported.اضافة اعلان

Social Security Law amendments include expatriate workers, and those with contributions of less than 36 years, said Majali, who added that the draft will be submitted to the Lower House at the beginning of next year.

Under the amendments, he said, he retirement age for those with less than 84 monthly subscriptions, was raised to 59 for women, and to 62 for men, from the previous 55 for women and 60 for men.
