AMMAN —
InterContinental Jordan recently released a statement
announcing the appointment of Jan Kaiser as the hotel’s general manager. Kaiser
is taking over from former GM,
Carlos Malliaroudakis.

Jan Kaiser’s last appointment was with InterContinental Colombo,
Sri Lanka where he oversaw the pre-opening preparations of the hotel.
Jan Kaiser, who is from the Netherlands, boasts more than 26 years
of experience in the hospitality industry, that spans across several countries,
such as the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Egypt, Thailand, India, China, France,
Switzerland, and the Czech Republic, with globally renowned and famous chains,
including Movenpick and Shangri-La.
Throughout his tenure with those hotels and chains, he excelled at
making improvements when it comes to hotel operations, renovations, and played
a vital role during hotel openings and launches, the statement read.
