He explained that this shift materialized in moving from piecemeal digitalization of services to building an integrated, citizen-centric digital government ecosystem based on efficiency, speed, and ease of access.

Speaking to the Jordan News Agency (Petra), Smeirat stated that the ministry implemented quality programs and projects that contributed to raising the digitalization rate of government services to 85.5% of targeted services. He noted that efforts continue to reach 100% digitalization of all digitalizable government services by the end of this year, alongside re-engineering and simplifying government procedures to deliver a smoother, faster, and more efficient experience for citizens and investors.

He added that the ministry's efforts encompassed enhancing electronic integration and data exchange among government institutions, which improved overall performance, reduced reliance on paper transactions, and accelerated service delivery.

He pointed out that the Kingdom witnessed significant expansion in adopting digital solutions, with activated digital IDs on the "Sanad" application surpassing 2.88 million users. This was accompanied by expanded adoption of digital signatures and e-government services, reflecting growing citizen trust and reliance on digital channels as the primary option for accessing government services easily and securely.

Smeirat highlighted that Comprehensive Government Service Centers represent one of the prominent national achievements in the digital transformation journey. They offer an integrated model combining digital and face-to-face services at a unified point of service, thereby enhancing the user experience.

He added that the number of these centers has risen to 15 distributed across various governorates, offering 229 services in collaboration with 34 government entities. The centers serve over 120,000 citizens monthly by completing around 200,000 transactions, achieving a 98% user satisfaction rate.

He explained that these centers have helped reshape the concept of receiving government service by providing a single window where citizens can complete a wide range of transactions in one location, saving time, effort, and cost, while ensuring accessibility for all segments across the Kingdom, including those who still prefer or require direct service channels.

Furthermore, he stressed that the accomplishments over the past four years go beyond digitalizing services to completely redesigning the government service recipient journey, thereby boosting efficiency, transparency, and quality.

Smeirat concluded that the upcoming phase will focus on building upon these achievements by strengthening inter-agency integration and expanding the use of artificial intelligence, data, and advanced automation to deliver more proactive, efficient, and high-quality government services in line with the Economic Modernization Vision—placing the citizen at the core of continuous development and improvement.
