Government Communications Minister Mohammad Al-Momani said the Cabinet has approved a package of incentives for Al-Rawda Industrial City in the Ma’an Development Zone, including phased electricity price reductions starting at 75%, a 50% reduction in land prices, and wage support for local workers.

Speaking at a press conference following a Cabinet session held in Ma’an Governorate on Sunday, Al-Momani said the Ministry of Labour will cover 50% of the minimum wage to support the employment of Jordanian workers at factories established in Al-Rawda Industrial City.
The wage support will be supplemented by JD25 per month toward social security contributions and an additional JD25 monthly transportation allowance.
