Gold prices in Jordan’s local market rose on Wednesday compared with the previous pricing, increasing by 80 fils per gram for 24-karat gold, 70 fils for 21-karat gold, and 60 fils for 18-karat gold, according to the General Syndicate of Owners of Trade and Jewelry Shops.

According to the morning pricing, the selling price of one gram of 21-karat gold, the most popular grade among consumers in the local market, reached JD87.9 at jewelry shops, while the buying price stood at JD84.
The selling price of one gram of 24-karat gold reached approximately JD100.8, while 18-karat gold stood at around JD77.9 per gram.
