Bitcoin Surpasses $122,000 as BlackRock Fund Rises
Bitcoin maintained levels above $122,000 on Thursday, supported by a new milestone achieved by BlackRock’s spot Bitcoin ETF (IBIT), which now holds over 800,000 BTC under management — equivalent to about 3.8% of the global Bitcoin supply.اضافة اعلان

According to journalist Vivek Sen’s report published on Crypto News on October 9, 2025, the fund’s total assets reached nearly $100 billion after a net inflow of 3,510 BTC the previous day, bringing its total holdings to over 802,000 BTC since its launch in January 2024.

The report noted that U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs have attracted more than $60 billion in investment inflows since their inception, recording eight consecutive days of net positive inflows exceeding $5.7 billion — $4.1 billion of which went into BlackRock’s fund alone, reflecting persistent strong institutional demand.

The report also observed that many companies have begun adding Bitcoin to their treasuries as a strategic reserve asset to hedge against inflation and currency volatility.

This week, DDC Enterprise Limited announced a $124 million funding round to increase its Bitcoin holdings, further reinforcing the trend of major corporations adopting the cryptocurrency as a long-term financial asset.

BlackRock’s fund currently holds more Bitcoin than MicroStrategy, which owns about 640,000 BTC, signaling expanding institutional acceptance of Bitcoin as a legitimate financial asset.

Market sentiment was further bolstered by positive signals from the U.S. Federal Reserve, after September meeting minutes showed that half of policymakers expect two additional interest rate cuts before year-end, boosting confidence in risk-on assets.

Amid these factors, analysts believe Bitcoin is poised for further gains in the final quarter of 2025, driven by strong institutional demand, accommodative monetary policies, and increasing corporate adoption of Bitcoin as a strategic reserve asset.
