Russian FSMTC’s director expresses his concern about US weapons in Afghanistan

AMMAN —  US Weapons left in Afghanistan were estimated to cost around $85 billion, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

Director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation in Russia, Dmitry Shugaev, expressed his concern about the US weapons in Afghanistan. He stated that the number is “simply alarming.”اضافة اعلان

Shugaev said: “Think about these numbers: 22 armored vehicles, 358 automatic rifles, 176 artillery vehicles, 8000 trucks, loads of transport planes, and more than 100 weapon-equipped helicopters.”

News about the Taliban's control of the $80 billion military arsenal left behind by the US after their withdrawal from Afghanistan has been conflicting.
