AMMAN — Citizens in different areas of Amman have been complaining about irregular water supply, with some asserting that they have not received government-supplied water for weeks, which forces them to buy water to cover their needs, according to AmmanNet.اضافة اعلان

Many are calling on the concerned authorities to provide them with water, so that no additional financial burdens pile up on during the current difficult economic conditions.

Citizens who do not get water have to buy it from tanks, with prices starting at JD5 per cubic meter.

At the beginning of this summer, the Ministry of Water and Irrigation renewed its warning about the water situation, which it described it as critical, and said that all regions of the Kingdom are bound to witness water disruptions because water resources are limited.
