The Unified Admission Coordination Unit at the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development announced Sunday the opening of electronic applications for the bridging program at Jordanian public universities for the 2026–2027 academic year.
Applications opened Sunday and will remain available until midnight on Thursday, September 10, through the unit’s website.
Students eligible to compete for places allocated to bridging students under the regular program fall into two categories.
The first category comprises the top 5% of students in the comprehensive examination for the 2025–2026 academic year, as identified by Al-Balqa Applied University. These students are not required to sit the bridging admission examination administered by the Unified Admission Coordination Unit. They are only required to pay the JD15 application fee electronically through the Central Bank of Jordan’s eFAWATEERcom bill payment service.
The second category includes the top 5% in cumulative GPA in each specialization at the college/university level among graduates of the previous summer semester of 2024–2025 and the first and second semesters of 2025–2026.
Students in the second category are required to sit the bridging admission examination administered by the Unified Admission Coordination Unit. They must pay a JD15 application fee in addition to a JD50 admission examination fee, both electronically through eFAWATEERcom.
The unit said the admission examination will be held on Thursday, September 17, with full details to be announced at a later date.
It also urged students to visit the Unified Admission Coordination Unit’s website to review available information, including equivalent university specializations for community college programs, admission requirements, fees, and relevant guidance and instructions.
Students wishing to modify previously saved choices in their applications may access the electronic system at any time, around the clock, throughout the application period.
The unit noted that pharmacy diploma students holding a General Secondary Education Certificate in the scientific stream may bridge into pharmacy, provided they were admitted to the intermediate diploma program before the first semester of the 2022–2023 academic year.
