Two injured during armed bank robbery

AMMAN— Two men were arrested following the armed robbery of an Airport Road bank Tuesday afternoon, a security source told Al-Ghad News.اضافة اعلان

The men allegedly held bank staff at gunpoint, the source added. An employee was suffered a gunshot wound to the hand, and one of the assailants was allegedly shot by his partner. The gunman then fled the scene of the crime.

Police cordoned off the area and circulated a description of the fleeing suspect. He was arrested after being involved in a traffic collision, and a firearm was found in his possession.

According to the source, the injured employee and the injured partner were hospitalized, and an investigation was opened into the incident, according to Al-Ghad.
