AMMAN — According to Ziyad Al-Zoubi, the number of medical malpractice complaints by the syndicate in the past year totaled around 200 complaints. اضافة اعلان

He elaborated in a press statement that the rate of medical errors in Jordan is lower than the global average. He also pointed out that the council has registered only five complaints, Khaberni reported.

According to Zoubi, medical errors can be categorized in two types: the first type results from negligence in delivering healthcare services, while the second type arises from insufficient knowledge in performing surgical procedures.

Regarding medical liability, he emphasized that it was introduced to bridge the gap between previous regulations and laws, and it has now become an urgent necessity.
