Minister of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs, and Holy Sites, Dr. Mohammad Al-Khalayleh, confirmed on Tuesday that all Jordanian pilgrims of the official delegation are in good health.

Speaking from one of the delegation’s hotels in Medina, Dr. Al-Khalayleh announced the beginning of the transfer of Jordanian pilgrims from Medina to Mecca today, with the process expected to be completed by Thursday.
He noted that most of the pilgrims have arrived in Medina and are being closely monitored until they are settled.
The total number of Jordanian pilgrims for this season is 8,000, in addition to 4,500 pilgrims from the 1948 Muslim community, accompanied by a guidance and care delegation that includes guides, administrators, medical staff, and media personnel.
