Snow falls in southern Jordan

AMMAN — Snowfall blanketed the mountains of southern Jordan on Monday, while sections of the highway between Amman and Irbid witnessed heavy rains, Khaberni reported.اضافة اعلان

Snow showers were seen in the Sharah Mountains, which stretch along the King’s Highway from Shobak to the southern end of Maan Governorate, and which reach, in places, over 1,650m above sea level.

The Highway Patrol Operations Room confirmed that all highways in the Kingdom are still passable, despite the precipitation.
