Second consecutive Friday protest against ‘energy-for-water’ project, gas deals

AMMAN  — On Friday, citizens held a protest after Friday prayers from the Husseini Mosque in downtown Amman, demanding the dropping of the agreements signed with Israel, including the Declaration of Intent for the “energy-for-water’ deal and the gas agreement.اضافة اعلان

In the protest called for by the Jordanian National Campaign to Drop the Gas Agreement, participants raised banners saying, "The enemy's gas is occupation."

Last Friday, a protest was held to reject the declaration of intent to exchange energy for water with Israel. This is the second consecutive Friday protest.
