Bringing together 180 communication specialists from 80 countries, the three-day conference aims to strengthen trust in the Red Cross and Red Crescent among the international community, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The event will see the participation of representatives from the International Committee of the Red Cross and Red Crescent, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, and national societies from around the world.

Effective communication
During the working sessions, experts will share their knowledge and experiences in various communication domains, encompassing storytelling, digital marketing, and media engagement.

Speaking about the importance of effective communication, Muhammad Hadid, President of the JNRCS, emphasized, "Communication is an essential part of our humanitarian mission. It enables us to reach the local community's target groups and engage with all segments of society."

He further expressed the goal of meeting humanitarian needs, humanizing the media by highlighting different aspects of suffering, and fostering better responses while reducing the burden on vulnerable groups.

Highlighting the social, economic, and health challenges faced by many individuals in Jordan, including Syrian refugees, Hadid emphasized the significance of sharing their stories and educating the community about the obstacles they encounter and possible solutions.
