Ministry eases work permits for non-Jordanian workers

AMMAN — The Ministry of Labor has decided to allow employers to receive work permit cards for non-Jordanian workers through any labor directorate or office. اضافة اعلان

This is aimed at simplifying procedures, saving time and effort, after paying the required fees and any applicable late penalties, regardless of the location or method of submitting the transaction, whether it is paper-based or electronic, Hala News reported.

Ministry spokesperson Mohammed Al-Ziyoud stated on Monday, "For the purpose of receiving a work permit card, it is required that the employer or their authorized representative be present, along with the worker's passport, to fill in the permit data within the official stamp approved by the Ministry."
