Economist and businessman
Sabih Al-Masri has affirmed his full confidence in
the Jordanian economy and investment opportunities in the Kingdom, Al-Ghad News
reported. Masri indicated that the recovery from the pandemic constitutes the
beginning economic activity, stressing that Jordan had overcome similar
challenges in the past and is able to transform challenges into opportunities.

Masri said that his group continues to invest in
Jordan because “we are fully convinced of the feasibility of our investments”,
expressing his optimism for the coming period despite the current global
events.
With regard to the tourism sector, where Masri is
one of the largest investors, he said that demand for the Jordanian tourism
product is steadily increasing due to the Kingdom’s unique tourism components
and advantages. He pointed to the need to employ all efforts in order to
benefit from this demand to serve the national economy and create more job
opportunities. Masri added that his group will continue to invest in tourism in
the Kingdom “with our partners in this sector.”
He concluded by pointing out that economic reforms
in Jordan are serious, and that the
National Economic Workshop represents a
golden opportunity for all sectors to work collectively and harmoniously to
explore available opportunities and put the national economy on the right track
for the coming period.
