Meanwhile, under Article 70 of the Labor Law, working women are entitled to a total of 10 weeks of fully paid maternity leave before and after childbirth, provided that the period that falls after childbirth is no less than six weeks.

According to Article 27 of the Labor Law, an employer is not permitted to dismiss a pregnant woman after the sixth month of pregnancy, or during the period of her maternity leave.

Workers are also entitled to three days of paid paternity leave, according to Article 66 of the Labor Law.
